Come to PDASLA’s internship forum, Wednesday April 3! We are very excited to have guests coming from Olin and WRT to give us advice on our summer internship hunts. Come for great discussion and free pizza! (Noon in Upper Gallery)
The Jersey Shore: Megastructural Landscapes made a visit to our site over spring break, observing varying ecologies from the pine barrens, to salt marshes, to the Atlantic City boardwalk, as well as the after-effects of superstorm Sandy. The weather didn’t cooperate much, but even a snowstorm can’t stop landscape students from enjoying the beach!
PennDesign ASLA is hosting Travis Beck from the New York Botanical Garden on March 12. Travis will talk about the integration of designed landscapes with ecological systems. This lecture is part of Travis’s book tour for his newly published book “Principles of Ecological Landscape Design”. We are honored that Travis has included PennDesign as one of his stops.
